Recipe: Perk-A-Punch
On Thursday, October 22, Chef Jill was lucky enough to pair with AR Workshop at The Ivy Place in Van Wyck, SC to teach a charcuterie and cheese board class while the participants worked on their personalized tray project under a beautiful fall sky and the twinkling lights of the pole barn. This warm fall beverage was the perfect accompaniment to warm our hearts and toes. It’s the perfect festive drink for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Perk-A-Punch
Prep time: 5 minutes
Servings: 20-25 (5 quarts)
Ingredients:
2 quarts cranberry juice
2 quarts pineapple juice
1 quart water
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 TBSP whole cloves
1 TBSP whole allspice
4 cinnamon sticks
1 orange-sliced
1/2 lemon-sliced
Directions:
Place juices in the bottom of a 30-cup percolator. Set basket in place, then add remaining ingredients in basket. Perk 30 minutes or until light signals brewing is complete.
Optional: Garnish with cinnamon stick or whole cranberries.
